Maiden uniteD is a unique project that has been reinterpreting classic Iron Maiden songs in an acoustic setting since 2006. The project was founded by Joey Bruers (bass), a highly respected musician in the metal and rock scene. Maiden uniteD stands out by performing both well-known and lesser-known Iron Maiden songs in their own distinctive way, transforming heavy metal arrangements into understated and atmospheric acoustic versions.

BIOGRAPHY

The first Maiden uniteD recordings were made in 2006 as a one-time performance for an event, but the enthusiasm and responses from the audience inspired the musicians to continue. In 2010, the band released their debut album, 'Mind the Acoustic Pieces', which was entirely based on Iron Maiden's Piece of Mind album. This album was well received and drew attention to Maiden uniteD.

Maiden uniteD features a rotating line-up of musicians from the rock and metal world, as well as from other genres such as jazz and Dutch pop. This changing line-up gives each album, show, and tour a unique character, while preserving the core essence of Maiden uniteD: a tribute to Iron Maiden through a stripped-down, acoustic sound.

Now, five studio albums and several special releases later, Maiden uniteD is also known for their live performances. Their shows create an intimate, personal atmosphere where the band and audience together experience the power of the music. The concerts are a blend of nostalgia and a fresh take on the original songs. Maiden uniteD has toured across Europe, performing at festivals and venues in various countries, where they are consistently praised for their unique interpretation of Iron Maiden’s work.

Maiden uniteD remains active and continues to attract a broad audience, both among Iron Maiden fans and acoustic rock enthusiasts. Their approach has earned them a reputation as more than just a project; they are a tribute that brings the spirit of the original music to life in a new light.
