KARMAMOI

On 17 April 2026, Karmamoi will release their seventh studio album, "Eternal Mistake", a concept album telling the love story between a human and a humanoid. The album features world-class musicians such as Adam Holzman and Randy McStine.

Karmamoi are a progressive rock band formed in Rome in 2008. From the outset, they set out to reinterpret the genre with a modern edge, blending classic progressive complexity with atmospheric textures, cinematic moods, and emotionally driven songwriting. Over the years, Karmamoi have developed a distinctive sound marked by strong conceptual narratives and immersive arrangements. Their music frequently explores introspection, human fragility, and social themes, delivered through intricate compositions and evocative soundscapes.

They have collaborated with internationally respected artists such as Adam Holzman, Randy McStine, Colin Edwin, and Geoff Leigh, reflecting their artistic openness and ambition. Their live performances mirror the emotional intensity and depth of their studio recordings, offering audiences a powerful and immersive experience.

Today, Karmamoi stand as a distinctive presence in the contemporary progressive rock landscape, admired for balancing technical sophistication with heartfelt storytelling.

“Eternal Mistake” is a story about love, but not the kind we expect. It’s the story of a human and a humanoid, two souls reaching across the boundaries of logic and flesh, searching for something real in a world built on code and imperfection. It’s about what happens when emotion meets reason, when empathy confronts design, and when the heart learns that even mistakes can be beautiful. Because may be love itself is the eternal mistake, the one error we keep making, because it reminds us we’re alive.

Musically, “Eternal Mistake” blends sweeping orchestral passages and powerful guitar riffs into a modern progressive rock sound with electronic textures and Karmamoi’s trademark cinematic atmosphere. The band promises a deeply immersive experience, part concept album, part philosophical reflection, featuring powerful vocals, layered harmonies, hypnotic grooves, and a sound that feels both futuristic and timeless.

“Eternal Mistake is about a connection”, says drummer and composer Daniele Giovannoni, “It asks whether emotion can exist beyond biology, and whether our mistakes, especially in love, are really mistakes at all. Eternal Mistake is our most ambitious album so far, and it marks a change in the band’s sound without losing the identity that has made the band recognisable.”
