Big Big Train - Gathering Speed

For Gathering Speed, Big Big Train's fourth album, Greg decided to make a concept album influenced more directly by the sound of progressive rock from the early and mid 1970’s (relying heavily on 12-string acoustic guitars and a flight of mellotrons. A new singer, Sean Filkins, was recruited and Steve Hughes returned on drums.This album was originally recorded in 2008 and reissued in 2009.
