Green Carnation - A Dark Poem pt.III - The Massiah Complex

With ‘The Messiah Complex’, GREEN CARNATION have completed another masterpiece. Inspired by Arthur Rimbaud’s dreamy ode to Shakespearean character Ophelia, ‘A Dark Poem’ reads as a grand and gloomy album trilogy that takes listeners to crushing new highs and the deepest, darkest and most personal depths. Whether it’s the second wave black metal that drives Part I, the raw and aching ballads that support Part II or the bold 16-minute orchestral finale to Part III, the results are resounding down to the last epic note. With ‘A Dark Poem’, GREEN CARNATION add another masterpiece to their storied career.
